Deposits

Accommodation will not be confirmed until a deposit of one night’s tariff is received. This deposit will be forwarded to your hotel and will be credited to your room account.

Cancellations

No accommodation deposits will be refunded on or after 12 July 2010.

Early Arrival

Some international flights arrive in Sydney in the early morning. As check in is not until 1400-1500, it is possible that your room may not be available for immediate occupation on your early arrival. Whilst hotels will do everything possible to accommodate early arrivals, if you wish to be guaranteed immediate occupation, you are able to pay an extra day’s tariff for the night before you are due to arrive. If you wish to take this precaution, please advise the Congress Secretariat on the registration form so that we can notify the hotel that your room is pre-registered.

Late Arrival

Please indicate if you will arrive after 18:00, otherwise your room may be released.

Change of Booking

After 15 August 2010, please contact the hotel directly.

Group Accommodation Bookings

The Congress Secretariat offers organisations the opportunity to contract ten or more rooms for the Congress. This requires a contract to be signed by ICMS Australasia and your organisation to block book the group reservation.

Family Accommodation / Child Minding Facilities

For delegates travelling with their families, we recommend the Grand Mercure Apartments or Oaks Goldsbrough. The apartments are more spacious than standard hotel accommodation as they have a separate living and kitchen area and are both close to child-friendly attractions such as the Sydney Aquarium, Imax Theatre and Darling Harbour. Delegates should contact the hotel concierge regarding child care facilities.
